Scania 111

Scania 111  Unit

Scania 111, 1979, 4 wheel tractor unit, all running gear in excellent condition, low mileage engine recon gearbox, new clutch, new steering box, new springs, brake chambers etc.  Dutch spec cab in very poor condition, some bits salvageable i.e. seats, good dash, screens and windows but definitely needs a replacement shell. Also comes with spare low mileage engine, gearbox and many other parts.

 Pencil and watercolour by E.M.Skrimshire, founder member of The Reading Guild of Artists. The scene is painted from Mae’s back room in Coley Drive and is a view of Reading town centre, the picture is signed and dated 1942. A picture of a similar aspect but this time painted in winter was exhibited in the latter years of her life and is now owned by the Reading Museum. An important and interesting local picture.
